I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. When I was five to six years old, my favorite subjects were pregnant horses. As I got older, I sketched dogs, dragons, and dinosaurs. When my passion for birds was sparked, my creativity went into overdrive. I drew common birds from memory, copied illustrations from field guides, built my own Lego birds, and even made profiles for my very own imaginary birds! I also started taking art classes and depicting birds with paint, pastels, and clay. Today, I use extremely careful, detailed techniques in my artwork – aiming for perfect realism.
